German Luftwaffe Blue-Gray Tropical shorts in hardwearing gabardine cotton has been copied from an original pair in our collection and sport very roomy leg openings. Unlike the straight-leg trousers, the fit for these shorts is very wide and was very popular in non-front line troops in Italy and the Balkans, such as signals and flak units.
Luftwaffe Flight and ground crew wore the blue cotton shorts, which features: 2 back pockets, 2 front slash pockets, a baggy fit, an internal belt, and light metal friction buckle - all copied and made to actually work as intended.
