Luftwaffe Tropical Tunic (M41)
Luftwaffe m41 Feldbluse, complete at best.
The new run of Luftwaffe Tropical Tunics is patterned from an original wartime jacket from our collection. The fabric is dyed in the same khaki-brown colour, not the bright golden-yellow colour one often sees on other reproductions. The new run has a few upgrades, very fine details, and high-quality hardware. Check out the photos.
This Luftwaffe tropical tunic features:
- 6 front brown metal pebbled buttons, fitted with S-loops for easy removal, as produced on the originals
- 2 pleated chest pockets with flap closure
- 2 lower pockets
- False French cuffs with 2 buttons per cuff
- Internal field dressing pocket
- Tan lining, machine-stitched to match original interior construction
- Custom size stamp inside each piece as part of the Wohn Wohl Line.
Insignia
The tunic is complete with a zigzag-stitched Luftwaffe breast eagle on a tan backing, using the same method as in original factory-made tunics. Shoulder straps with golden-yellow piping are included and are constructed from the same fabric. Red piped shoulderboards are available separately.

Historical Info about the Luftwaffe Tropical Feldbluse
Very popular with Luftwaffe personnel in the Mediterranean region and the Balkans, this tropical uniform was also extensively used by the Fallschirmjager in North Africa and Italy from 1941 onwards. As a replacement for the woollen fliegerbluse in tropical environments, this tropical uniform was issued to Generals, Officers and Enlisted Men alike.
