Luftwaffe Tropical Trousers (M41)

The improved Tropical Luftwaffe Trousers are made with hard-wearing khaki fabric copied from our originals. The cotton fabric is dyed to match the khaki-brown of an original from our collection, rather than the bright golden-yellow colour one often sees on other reproductions. These trousers feature:

• Adjustable waist with lightweight metal buckle
• Leg straps at both ankles with matching lightweight metal buckles, allowing the trousers to be tapered and bloused
• Large map pocket on the left thigh
• 2 internal rear pockets with flaps
• Tack bar reinforcements at stress points
• Baggy cut to be 100% faithful to the original patterns for this type of trousers.

The Luftwaffe tropical tunic and these trousers were popular among Luftwaffe Pilots in the Mediterranean region and the Balkans, as well as with the Fallschirmjäger in North Africa and Italy.

Limited 2026 run. These trousers are cut with a deliberately baggy fit, faithful to the original pattern. The inseam is 10cm longer than the measurements shown in our standard size guide. This is intentional, not an error. The additional length is there to allow the trousers to be bloused correctly over the ankle straps, as worn in the field.
