The new run of Luftwaffe Tropical Uniforms is the result of an extensive study of original uniforms features, determination for lightweight cotton and smart fit. This project was a personal initiative for our primary impression and we wanted it to be complete down to the zig-zag stitching of the breast eagle. Yes, it comes with stitched breast eagle as produced by the original factory.
Other important features of this tunic are 6 front buttons, which are removable easily S-loops, fake french cuffs with 2 buttons, inner field dressing pocket. Complete the Luftwaffe Tropical impression with the Luftwaffe Tropical Trousers.
Note that these tunics carry a slim fit for a very sharp look. If you're after a more relaxed look, make sure to go one size up.
This tunic comes completes with zig-zag stitched breast eagle on tropical backing. Shoulder straps for flight/paratrooper branch are also included. These are made from different fabric as was typically the case due to different supply chains.
Very popular with Luftwaffe personnel in the Mediterranean region and the Balkans, this tropical uniform was also extensively used by the Fallschirmjager in North Africa and Italy from 1941 onwards. As a replacement for the woollen fliegerbluse in tropical environments, this tropical uniform was issued to Generals, Officers and Enlisted Men alike.
